CabFare uses the fee to improve the app for everyone and to support the technology and infrastructure that process and secure your transactions. A $0.50 convenience fee is added to all rides. ONLY your passenger pays this — not you.

Yes, this is a direct booking made privately between you and the passenger.

Yes, this is considered a direct booking as long as the future trip is arranged privately between you and the passenger.

Yes, that is a direct booking and is fully compliant if you meet the accreditation requirements.
Can a hotel concierge call me directly to arrange a pick-up for a guest?
Yes, this is a direct booking initiated by the hotel on the guest’s behalf.
Can I promote myself and receive bookings through my own website or business cards?
Yes, any booking made directly with you, not via a third-party platform, is a direct booking.
If a customer books me via the Uber app, is that a direct booking?
No, this is a platform booking made through Uber’s system.
Is a trip dispatched to me by a taxi network considered a direct booking?
No, bookings through a taxi network or dispatch system are not direct.
If I get a job through a rideshare platform (e.g. Uber, Lyft), does that count?
No, that is a third-party booking and not considered a direct booking.
